Tree Transplanter at GNFC

Located in the prosperous industrial belt of Bharuch and set over an approximate area of over 1200 acres, GNFC is continually growing and expanding its operating facilities. Today, its business comes from chemicals, petrochemicals, energy, electronics, telecommunications and information technology.
The cutting of trees from its premises was quite a familiar task; until Mr. R B Vekaria ( B.Sc Agriculture) stepped in and decided to procure a Chassis Mounted - Fully Contained – One Operator System - Tree Transplanting Machine for GNFC.

Mr. Raju Vasava, the Operator of the GNFC Tree Transplanter and an expert at Forklifts, Cranes and other Heavy Vehicles confirms the ease of operation with 90Ds. According to him, "When the NHAI approached us at GNFC for the acquisition of some of our Residential Colony land, we had to transplant all the Trees – Limda, Baheda, Amla, Sonn, Mango - from the periphery of our Colony to the inside sections so that NHAI could build the NH8. It took us an hour per tree but we were able to transplant all the trees. Almost all the trees are still alive and growing."
Equipped with a 400-gallon water tanks and 45-gallon oil reservoirs, the BIG JOHN Model 90D and 100D is ideal to transplant our Indian trees. "I have till date transplanted 150 trees with a success ratio of 95%," says an elated Mr. Vasava.
