MBK has been working in the Indian market for the past five years with the active assistance from Technicom, New Delhi. During the period, the company has sold 4 machines to Indian concrete pipe producers and after speaking to dozens of pipe producers and construction companies, we discovered that several users have preferred to choose less expensive equipment from Asian companies that are copy of our equipment. This way their initial investment was lower, but apparently now, some of them have realized that the "low cost" equipment does not perform well and they are now re-contacting us for our equipment, said Giel Janssen, a senior marketing officer.

On participating at Excon 2011 he explained, we intend to promote and introduce our new generations of cage machines and a solar system washing equipment at the show. During the event, our agents will also organize meetings with the existing customers and would be clients to establish a status quo wherein our newly designed high speed machines may just prove and make the required difference making it crystal clear that our prices went down whereas the performance has gone up. For India, we also have plan to introduce our machinery for the production of paint rollers and brushes. Our assessment is that India is and will for sure remain a reliable market for years to come and also the fastest growing economies opening up huge business potentials. So we together with our local partners are keen to be a part of the growth story.
This year, MBK is celebrating its 50th anniversary and till now we have built and installed about 800 machines for the concrete pipe and construction industry, just like some 150 machines for production of paint rollers and brushes. Our success, even in tough years, confirms that most people cannot afford to buy cheap stuff. Producers do realize that the factor that counts is the price and quality ratio. When calculating any price difference basing your calculation on a 25-year life span, it makes the price difference looks negligible. Trouble-free production, reliability, narrow tolerance, higher production and world-class after sales services are the factors people need to give top priority.
