53 HAMM compactors build foundation
A fleet of 53 HAMM compactors have been in action across the expressway length, accelerating the pace of construction with quality compaction. The made in India HAMM 311 soil compactor with an operating weight of 11 ton and 2.14m wide vibration drum ensures high compaction force and a large static linear load of up to 30 kg/cm on the construction site. The 3-Point Articulation technology provides outstanding all-terrain mobility, supporting safe maneuvering on uneven ground, and offers excellent driving comfort by effectively dampening the vibrations.
28 VÖGELE Pavers for quality paving
28 VÖGELE pavers having clocked approx. 25,000 working hours are seamlessly operating in tandem with HAMM. The VÖGELE Super 1800-3 pavers with a paving width of 9m in one pass have effortlessly paved the Purvanchal Expressway in all the packages followed by the HAMM Tandem rollers to compact the final layer. VÖGELE offers a range of sensor pavers from 1.5 m paving width to a maximum of 18 m – one of the largest pavers in the world.
The Wirtgen Group, a sustainable solution provider for road construction, offers the most technologically advanced and innovative machines for the CE industry, namely, VÖGELE Pavers, HAMM Compactors and Slipform Pavers, that cater to all the requirements of greenfield expressways.
