Wacker Neuson introduces DPU6555 Hech Reversible Plate Compactor in India
Wacker Neuson’s DPU6555 Hech Reversible Plate Compactor is a heavy-duty soil compactor with a 65 kN centrifugal force; and it features ‘Compatec’ that informs the user of optimum achievement of compaction through LED displays. It has a hydraulically operated infinite forward and reverse movement, and is powered by the reliable Hatz diesel engine equipped with an electric start. The hand-arm vibration (HAV) value is far below the permissible limits for long comfortable operation. The standard base plate width is 710mm and can be reduced to 550mm without extension plates.
This Plate Compactor can be used for all types of soil compaction on roads, railways (rail beds), pathways, parking lots, factory and concrete floor sub-bases, heavy interlocking paving stones, as well as for the backfilling around buildings. During soil compaction, the plate provides a much higher compaction force compared to an equivalent size / weight vibratory roller. This results in not just higher compaction with a lower number of passes but also a chance of having higher backfill layers, thus reducing the overall time of compaction.
Compatec with LEDs indicates when the maximum compaction has been achieved, which prevents over compaction, in addition to reduced fuel consumption. An operating hour meter helps identify the operating hours of the machine. The high output power of the engine provides for longer service intervals. Intelligent functions include low oil shut-off, self-adjusting V-belt, and maintenance-free alternator. Overall, the DPU6555 Hech is one of the most advanced Reversible Plate Compactors from the range of Wacker Neuson.
