Wacker Neuson to Consolidate Market Presence in India

The German construction equipment manufacturing entity, Wacker Neuson is further consolidating its presence in India, said its MD, Mr. Senarat Jayasekera at Excon. The company showcased its new range of electric breakers – the EH 50 for demolition applications during the show. The other products exhibited included vibratory plates for soil compaction - the models DPU 2550, 3070, 4545H and the 6555, vibratory rammers-BS 60 2i, vibratory rollers, concrete vibrators, light towers LTN 6L and shutter vibrators of the AR 26, AR 42, AR 54 range.

According to Mr. Jayasekera, "The Indian customers have started increasingly to emphasize on quality and efficiency, which are characteristics of the Wacker Neuson brand. We focus on niche markets providing value added service and solutions to our end-users. This emphasis discounts the issue of import price variations both from our and customers' end. Nonetheless, we will also expand our market share through the appointment of additional dealers and augmenting our own sales and service staff across the country to increase our representation with end-users."
