Ammann–Apollo Bullish on High Technology and High Capacity Asphalt Plants in India
Ammann Apollo, joint venture entity, is bullish on the business potential of its high technology high capacity 260 tph asphalt batching plants from the road construction sector. Mentioning about the plants Mr. V.K. Raghavan, Chief Executive–Marketing, said, "With continued emphasis of the government to lay national highways involving long stretches and the continued efforts of MoRTH to bring in advanced technology, we are highly optimistic that the demand UG 260 which is 100 % future ready plant, will have a very good market in India. In order to to make UG 260 affordable to the Indian customers, feeders and bitumen tanks will be manufactured here in India, using technology from Ammann, while key components like burners, drums, screens, and controls will be imported from Switzerland. Ammann Apollo will continue to offer the ANP series of Batch Plants which is the market leader in India. The customers will have an option to choose. Ammann's expertise and global leadership position in asphalt plants and compactors combined with the extensive market reach of Apollo in India, our joint venture entity is looking forward to strengthen its position in Indian road construction equipment sector by offering the complete range of equipment."
