Marini's most advanced Asphalt plant for Jodhpur-Pali road project in India

Historical Road Project set on Fast Track with Marini

Marini connects the road between tradition and modern for a sustainable future.

The state of Rajasthan, one of the most royal and historic states in India, is set to witness the confluence of industrialisation, tradition, history and culture. Connecting the tradition with the modern, the historic with the future, is a prestigious road project, between the historical cities of Jodhpur and Pali.

The Road connecting the city of Jodhpur and Pali is a very strategic road, envisaged to promote the industries and commerce in the state of Rajasthan. Pali is situated on the bank of the river Bandi and is 70 km south east of Jodhpur. It is known as "The Industrial City". When it came to building the 288 lane kms, Jodhpur-pali road project, on NH-65, Marini was the choice yet again. The asphalt plant known for its best-in-class efficiency, environment friendliness and lowest carbon footprint was the perfect choice, in order to protect and guard the tradition and history of the area.

Marini Asphalt Plants

Blesson Varghese
We built this Marini to be one of the most advanced asphalt plants in India. Utmost care for environment, lowest carbon impact and a very high quality mix was the underlying important demand for this project. This modern Marini is a high capacity plant, with features like Eight x 18 cbm Cold Feeders, a Hot mix storage silo with automatic energy conserving system to store up to 200 Tons of hot mix. Two dedicated lines of filler supply ensure that we have the right ingredients mixed for the typical aggregates in the area to build a highly performing pavement, states Blesson Varghese.

Being a significant region in the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor, the road will play a very vital role, as the industries in the region flourish. Pali has seen considerable growth in its industries and this road will form a vital link to the neighbouring states and port connectivity.

In our experience, till date with asphalt plants, we could never attain the rated capacities. So we were used to always oversize the plants to get a desired output. Our experience with Marini has been very exciting. Our Marini delivers productivity usually above its rated capacity with great ease. We clock around 99% uptime on our plants and the operating costs on the plant is delightfully low, adds the R L Kashyap VP. Service and operating costs are very important when it comes to asphalt plant operations, this fact itself makes our Marini's outstanding. The unbeatable low production and operating costs clearly justifies our management's vision to invest in a Marini, adds Mr. Kashyap. With best in class production, productivity and performance, who needs more !

Mahendra Agrawal

Our Marini's have really redefined the way we conduct our asphalt production. Productivity and performance of our Marini is phenomenal. Our Marini's are able to produce above their rated capacity on-demand, and we have absolutely never encountered any production bottlenecks, states Mahendra Agrawal- Director GRIL.

Vinod Agrawal

Vinod Agrawal (CMD-GRIL) states, the technical features on our Marini's are unmatched. The quality of mix, bitumen coating, and the performance of asphalt produced on our Marini's are unbeatable. GRIL today, is able to produce all kinds of modern mixes, our Marini's have strenghtened us and helped us become India's foremost company producing the most environment friendly and green mixes. Today with our Marini's we are able to process Recycled Asphalts, Warm and cold mixes along with traditional asphalts with the highest economy and lowest impact on environment.

Warm Mix Asphalts
To reduce the impact on environment the plant is geared with futuristic sustainable development technologies. The plant will be able to produce high content recycled asphalts, Warm mix asphalts and speciality mixes. The plant is deemed to be one of India's most energy efficient asphalt production sites. The complex technology on the plant, was however very easy to set up. Thanks to the factory-tested and pre-assembled units. The self standing Marini doesn't require massive concrete foundations leaves no trail and impact even when it will be moved from the site, upon completion of the project. Specially designed bitumen transfer & handling systems prevents contamination of the historic ground. Commissioning the Marini was quite short, proving that good site management and a modular plant with easy set up design is a very good choice for a quick start up. We look forward to setting up some wonderful sustainability records on this site, adds Mr. Blesson Varghese - Director Marini India.
