Mahindra expands Backhoe Loader Range
Mahindra Construction Equipment announced the expansion of its range of backhoe loaders with the launch of its first higher horse power variant – SX90 under its EarthMaster series, along with SXL and DrillX. The new SX 90 comes with an advanced joystick operation, and ensures higher productivity with quick excavation cycle time and higher digging force and loading capability. It is powered by a 90 HP 4915-IA-CEV engine developed by Mahindra. The robust one-piece structure, extended banana boom and longer loader arm give the SX90 an advantage over its counterparts. With a big spacious cabin that allows easy access and new ergonomically designed cluster for better accessibility, it provides enhanced operator comfort.

It has been validated on all performance, safety, and reliability parameters and is backed by a strong dealer sales and service network covering 400 districts.
Affirms Mr. Nijhawahan, “We have added value engineering in our backhoe loaders to optimize their performance. Our 79 hp backhoe loader comes with more than 10 unique attachments including rammer, hydraulic rock breaker and auger attachments among others. We will be looking to position our backhoe loaders with a complete set of attachments, and will also add more attachments to our Earthmaster backhoe loaders so that they can be used in varied applications. We are also carrying out improvisations in the hydraulics and transmissions for increasing their output in terms of loading.”
Also, on display was the standard variant VX which comes with joystick operation, SXL – the front-end loader with extended arm, and the new concept DrillX – a unique solution for piling application, along with a host of attachments which make the equipment very versatile as well.
The recently launched Mahindra RoadMaster G75 got a lot of traction with the visitors at EXCON 2017. The category creating disruptive motor grader saw tremendous booking and the Mahindra Construction Equipment delivered the keys for their 100th and 125th motor grader RoadMaster G75 to the customers. Also, a single largest order of 5 motor graders was received at the exhibition where the total bookings of various Mahindra construction equipment crossed 50 mark for the first time in the history of their participation in the EXCON exhibition.
The EarthMaster and RoadMaster range is manufactured at Mahindra’s facility at Chakan in Pune.
