Atlas Copco widens offerings for road & infrastructure construction

In a bid to expand its presence in the road & infrastructure sector, Atlas Copco launched its HiLight V5+, CPCB II compliant LED light tower, manufactured at its Pune facility. Mr. Nitin Lall, General Manager, Atlas Copco India Ltd., Power Technique Customer Center, said, “The light tower’s lifting beam with forklift pockets and heavy-duty lifting eye, facilitates easier movement. The spring axle trailer, tow hitch and lighting conform to transportation requirements. V5+ has the patented hard hat canopy as a standard for maximum protection of the internal parts of the equipment while working at construction sites in harsh weather /environmental conditions. A unique feature is its illumination range of approx 5,000 sqm with a LED life expectancy of more than 30,000 hours and more than 50% fuel efficiency compared to other bulbs”.

Atlas Copco also displayed its new XRHS 650 compressor for water well drilling, which features a dual pressure selection, has an ideal air flow and pressure combination, 38% smaller foot print in the segment with smaller truck, is 36% lighter than other compressors in its class and 20% faster & deeper drilling“. It is an excellent upgrade for users who want higher pressure and higher flow in shallow water well drilling segment,” said Mr.Lall. He informed that the company is looking at the reconditioning business of their equipment in order to deliver higher total lifecycle costs to the customers.
