Alltech to introduce higher capacity asphalt batch mix plants

In a bid to tap the emerging market for higher capacity asphalt batch mix plants, Gujarat-based Alltech will be introducing higher capacity 200 to 240 tph plants. At bauma CONEXPO India, the company present its range of asphalt batch mix plants comprises 80-120-160 tph plants.

Said Paresh Patel, Director, International Sales, Alltech, "We are seeing rising requirements for plants with higher productivity levels due to longer stretches of construction work and shorter work schedules. Our higher capacity plants are presently in their design stage and will be commercially launched in 2019."

He informed that they are also making improvisations in their existing batching plants to reduce their maintenance requirements and make them more user-friendly and thereby enhance their efficiency with the right levels of temperature in the batched bitumen.

"In accordance with this, we are ensuring that our equipment will have the right quality standards and will be less prone to wear and tear. For example, to ensure extended life of the wear parts, such as the tips of the mixing blades, we are making some design modifications. Over all, we are making the plant’s automation systems more user-friendly, and design improvisations are also being carried out in the internal flight of the dryers," he added.

Alltech manufactures its plants at its facility in Gujarat under a technical tie-up with POLITA of Turkey.
