ACE focuses on road construction and earthmoving equipment
With its impressive display of road construction and earthmoving equipment, it became apparent that ACE is eyeing an increased role in the road construction and earthmoving industries. It is also gearing up for upcoming opportunities in the smart city projects and in low cost housing development with its tower cranes and boom placers.
Mr. Pradeep Sharma, President, ACE, commented, “Excon turned out to be an inflexion point in our journey to become an established player in the road equipment industry. We may well be able to position ourselves amongst the top three backhoe loader manufacturing companies of India in the next couple of years. Excon provided us a platform to interact with our customers and other manufacturers, and helped us understand the dynamics of the industry and the direction in which the CE market is heading in terms of products and technologies.”
Expressing confidence that the CE industry is poised to see substantial growth in the coming years, he said, ”The CE industry is once again seeing positive growth with the government’s continued focus on infra development and public spending. The next couple of years may well turn out to be a golden era for the industry in terms of volume and growth. Except for real estate, most of the segments like roads, mining, irrigation, and ports have started doing well, and in a couple of quarters, when the smart city projects and affordable housing begin to be implemented more strongly, the CE industry will witness further growth momentum.”
“At ACE, we are geared up to meet the anticipated demand as we have the widest range of product portfolio comprising Earthmoving, Material Handling, Construction Equipment, Cranes and equipment for the Agri-business,” he added.
In his view, the CE industry as a whole, is witnessing the positive trend following the current ruling dispensation on infra development and other large-scale projects. “At the last Excon, we were a bit skeptical about the growth of the Indian economy, but during Excon 17, the sentiment was very much upbeat about new developments in the CE industry, new products, and emerging technologies being introduced. I think the focus of the industry will be on meeting customer requirements for machnes that offer sophistication, safety, advanced technology along with superior quality and on-time delivery.”
