Mait Rigs have been extensively utilized in Delhi Metro since 2000 right from the 1st Phase for the Elevated Viaducts and Station as well as for Soldier Piles for Underground Stations.
In the 2nd Phase of Delhi Metro for Elevated Viaducts in 2003, MAIT introduced Model HR260 to the Indian Market which was used for Pile Foundations of 1500mm Diameter including Hard Rock Socketing.
In Delhi Metro MAIT Rigs have been used by Gammon India, Navayuga Engg. Valecha Engg. ITD Cementation, VRM, IDEB Projects.
MAIT are multipurpose rigs and can be used for Diaphragm Walls with a simple change of kit. Changing from bored piling version to Diaphragm Wall version takes only few hours. The advantage with MAIT Rig mounted Hydraulic Diaphragm Wall system is a (square) Kelly guided Grab which ensures verticality of the trench/ panel.
Using a Diaphragm wall kit on MAIT Rig also saves cost of complete new equipment for the contractors as it can be used both as Piling Rig as well as Diaphragm Wall Rig as per the job requirement.
Other advantage of MAIT diaphragm Wall kit is that it can be mounted on the rig at a later date than the purchase of the original rig.
In the Indian Subcontinent, MAIT has already established the presence on the market for more than 8 years with a sizeable number of bored piling rigs (more than 200 Units.) supplied to other major Indian contractors like Simplex Concrete Piles, Meher Foundation, J.Kumar Infraprojects, Essar Constructions, Nagarjuna Construction, Soma Enterprises, Maytas Infra, B.Seenaiah & Co. etc.
With the experience of more than 50 years, MAIT has accumulated detailed know how about piling, Diaphragm Walls and foundation equipment. MAIT has expert personnel who can guide clients for selection of correct equipment, training of operators and methodology of executing a particular job with highest efficiency.
MAIT has own branch offices in Mumbai, Pune and New Delhi for carrying out the after-sales service of products in the India, with fully trained service engineers and a stock of spare parts available.
