Atlas Copco's Solid Body (SB) and Medium breakers (MB) keep lifecycle costs down: less weight, more power

Atlas Copco Hydraulic Breaker
Atlas Copco introduced the innovative hydraulic breaker 50 years ago which transformed the construction and mining industries. With your productivity and total cost of ownership as our priority, we have continued to refine this winning concept.

In India, breakers suitable for 20.0 Tonne excavator class dominate the market! The Atlas Copco MB1500 hydraulic breaker is the most popular breaker in this specific segment.

The entire MB line offers numerous possibilities to find the perfect match for your excavator.

Our breakers are incorporated with KRUPP percussion technology, which makes the breakers with highest power to Weight ratio. E.g., our 20.0 Tonne class breaker MB1500 weighs only 1500.0 Kilograms (includes weight of adaptor plate and chisel) and delivers maximum impact power with 30% more productive compared to others carrying dead weight of nearly 2000.0 Kilograms.

Due to lower weight and higher efficiency, less hydraulic input power is required from the carrier while maintaining maximum impact performance. This allows smaller carriers to be used which results in lower investment cost for the carrier. With high efficiency and performance, low noise and vibration, low fuel consumption, we offer efficiency and performance you can rely on!

The Atlas Copco SB breaker range gives solid productivity in applications such as scaling, trenching, quarrying and pavement removal. The unique solid body concept, integrates percussion mechanism and guide system into a single block of special case iron, decreasing the total number of parts significantly. Features such as the patented locking system, innovative tool guiding system and the remarkable hydraulic design make the SB breaker range extremely versatile and highly reliable.
