Tecnocom offers Vertical Battery Moulds for Reinforced Concrete Elements

Tecnocom Vertical Battery Moulds
Battery moulds are designed for the vertical casting of reinforced concrete elements with a considerable surface area, in a single layer and various sizes.

A variety of concrete elements can be cast between the steel bulkheads. The number of bulkheads determines the number of elements manufactured and can be adapted to meet production capacity requirements.

Reinforced Concrete Elements
Battery moulds can be supplied as a single mould (with one series of pouring bays) or a double mould with two series of pouring bays to the right and left of a fixed central matrix. The number of pouring bays required depends on the number of prefabricated panels to produce and therefore the customers required capacity. Furthermore, the customer can also choose to install a heating system to accelerate the concrete curing process. Vibrators on the bulkheads guarantee the effective compacting of the freshly poured concrete.

During production, a seal is formed around the whole mould making it leak-proof. The panels produced using this system have an excellent surface finish on both sides as the steel plate is ultra-flat. Solid steel structural walls at the ends of the pouring bays have hydraulic cylinders that clamp down the pouring bays, and are powerful enough to resist the pressure of the concrete being poured into the mould and then left to cure.

Vertical battery moulds are ideal for manufacturing reinforced, large concrete elements. Panels can be produced in a variety of thicknesses and sizes. The system consists of mobile vertical pouring bays that can be used to cast numerous elements simultaneously. The greatest advantage of a vertical battery mould is giving you high production while occupying a relatively small amount of space.
