Ajax Fiori Upgrades Argo Series, Eyes Holistic Growth
Ajax Fiori is on a roll! The concreting equipment major, which manufactures self-loading concrete mixers, batching plants, and concrete pumps introduced the new generation of Argo Series of Self Loading Concrete Mixers, which are equipped with concrete batch controller and other superior technical attributes. Meanwhile, the company has also launched a new range of concrete pumps in collaboration with Junjin of South Korea. Notably, Junjin is one of the leading manufacturers of concrete pumps in the world, and through this collaboration Ajax Fiori plans to widen its range of concrete pumping and placement by introducing placing booms in the next stage.
Meanwhile, the company is planning to expand its offerings in concrete batching and mixing plants, and envisages the inclusion of planetary mixers in its bouquet of offerings in technical collaboration with Eurostar of Italy. And in order to give shape to its dreams, Ajax Fiori is setting up a manufacturing facility at Gowribidanur, Karnataka, in the vicinity of Bengaluru, wherein 300 batching plants will be churned out per annum, a capacity that will be scaled up to 600 in the future. The plant, which is spread across an expansive 90,000 sqft, is expected to on stream by mid-2014.
As if these developments for not enough, the company has started a state-of-the-art Parts Logistics Centre and Corporate Office in Peenya, Bengaluru, and also adopted a new logo. An ecstatic Mr.D.K.Narang, the Director, Ajax Fiori, expressed, "With the renewed focus and the promise of delivering complete concrete solutions, we aim to strengthen our position further among the top two concrete equipment manufacturers in the country. Despite sluggishness of the last few quarters, we are optimistic about the medium and long term prospects of the Indian concrete equipment industry outlook and target a turnover of `1,000 crore by 2017-18. Today, we take pride to inform that Ajax Fiori has the competency and is investing further to expand and provide more innovative and cost-effective solutions for the construction sector. Having foreseen the products' suitability across various applications and the increased demand across geographies, we have ambitions to create a significant presence beyond Indian shores in the coming years."
