REL - Waitzinger Launches 17 Meter Boom Placer
REL, Construction Equipment Division recently launched its 17 Meter Boom Placer with separate Slave Engine. The first unit will be in operation near Kolkata for a housing project.
Manufactured at ISO certified facility near Chennai, the machine, designed based on the leading German manufacturer, Waitzinger, is suitable for mounting on a 16 GVW,2 Axle truck. The Boom, with 3 elements, has a vertical reach of 16.1 meters and a horizontal reach of 13 meters. The machine also has a high pressure pumping unit of 120 Bar in Piston side hydraulic pressurization, is driven by a separate Slave engine of 81kW power at 2300 rpm. The Boom placer is fitted with automatic Grease lubrication system and also front and rear outriggers for stability while pumping in any of the Boom orientation.
The machine is well designed to ensure accessibility for easy maintenance for both the slave engine as well as the Pumping unit, while ensuring overall compactness. Fitted with a cable remote, the machine is very much operator-friendly and allows efficient ‘Reverse suction’ for Pipe cleaning. The machine is also fitted with a water tank and a high pressure water pump for cleaning purpose.
Most suited for applications in Road project, housing projects of Ground + 2 Floors and Ready Mix Concrete Industry, REL- 17 R 3 XT, is undoubtedly a ‘Value for Money’ proposition with a price tag of INR 6 Million (Without Truck). The separate slave engine facilitates fuel saving and the high pressure pumping unit allows high productivity.
