Ahmedabad- based Maxmech Equipments Pvt. Ltd. presents its mobile batching plant (MMP series) and stationery concrete batching plant (MAX series).
Ahmedabad- based Maxmech Equipments Pvt. Ltd. was present with a display of its mobile batching plant (MMP series) and stationery concrete batching plant (MAX series). The mobile batching plant is ideal for project sites where more mobility is required, such as canal works, high volume bases/ foundations, public works, road bases, wind turbine foundations, multi-storied buildings, etc., and is maintenance-free.
Nandish Surelia, Director, said that the company is confident of growth with NHAI pushing construction of concrete roads over bitumen. This would positively impact companies dealing in batching plants. He informed that concretized roads have a long life of 50 years as opposed to bitumen roads that have a lifespan of 15 years. Concrete is more suitable for laying major highways due to the material's high load bearing capacity, however, using concrete is more time consuming. At the same time, advancements in technology are enabling faster construction using concrete.
With a sales team present in all major cities and a network of 10 dealers offering stocks, spares and after-sales, the company is gearing up for higher sales in 2017, which as per Surelia's estimation, could see an increase in turnover from the current Rs.50 crore to Rs.70-80 crore in the next fiscal. A major challenge is the price competiveness, as OEMs feel that competition is cutting down costs. The company is also looking for tie-ups with international companies that are keen to enter India with better technology and products.
