Cosmos introduces twin shaft compact concrete batching plant

According to Mr. Siddharth Shah, MD – Cosmos Construction Machineries & Equipment (P) Ltd, "The definition of slowdown is different for all. People have projects but their liquidity position is down, and it's a wait and watch game." Nonetheless, Cosmos is not bogged down by the slowdown, instead it is using this opportunity to tailor its offerings according to the situation. "We have done a lot of research in consultation with contractors, and have learnt that concrete application is becoming very demanding nowadays and various projects need specialized concrete. We have developed products as per contractors' requirements that work according to the need-of-the-hour."


In tune with these developments, Cosmos has come up with a Twin Shaft Compact Batching Plant that can be taken to a site and simply 'plugged in and switched on.' The plant is available in 15 cum, 20 c‎um. "These kinds of innovative products have helped us to sustain the slowdown," he said. Apart from this, the company showcased its entire range of equipment such as inline batching plant, fully automatic reversible drum batching plant, boom scrapper batching plant, tower crane, suspended rope platform, transport platforms, tough rider articulated type, shuttering material, Bar bending and cutting machines to name a few. Notably, Cosmos is also the Indian channel partner of Korean concern Kumkang Kind, and markets the latter's aluminium formwork in the country.

Mr. Shah, informed, "About 30% of our turnover is from exports to Africa, Sri-Lanka, Bhutan, and we are trying to tap more overseas potential."
