Apollo Carmix launches Apollo Carmix 45FX: greater capacity and performance for higher concrete quality
Apollo Carmix presented a preview of Apollo Carmix 45 FX, the new mobile concrete batching plant that combines Apollo Carmix 25 FX and Apollo Carmix 4TT to extend the range of machines exclusively for the Indian market. This compact, easy-to-drive and low-maintenance off-roader is the most effective and economical solution for producing top-quality concrete in any condition and at any construction site.
Great agility coupled with high productivity make Apollo Carmix 45 FX the preferred machine for all situations that require power, versatility and precision. Its user-friendly driving system, compact size (4.50m high x 7.750m long) and 4x4x4 steering allow this batching plant to move around in limited spaces and travel easily on bumpy and rough roads.
Apollo Carmix 45FX has been conceived on a grand scale: the concrete mixer has a capacity of 6100 litres with a mix yield of 4.5 m3, which means that a lot of concrete can be produced in a short time. Internally, a system composed of a double mixing screw and a drum with hydraulic motor rotation and planetary gearbox produces a homogeneous and compact mix. An automatic hydraulic loading system contributes to this result: with a large 600-litre blade, aggregates in the proper quantity can be loaded into the drum in a single operation without wasting material. In addition, the capacity of the water and diesel tanks has been increased, so that the machine works in complete autonomy throughout the day.
Like in all the machines produced by Apollo Carmix, the control and monitoring instruments of this model are also very important: the cab of Apollo Carmix 45FX houses an electronic weighing system complete with a printer to issue a mix certificate on the spot. Thus, any concrete recipe can be checked and replicated directly on site. The machine has a large closed cab featuring a ROPS FOPS structure, and control and block valves to ensure maximum safety and security for the operator. The driver’s seat is reversible with automatic inversion of the flow circuit to allow the operator all-round visibility when moving around the site.
