AJAX earmarks ₹100 crores to build new manufacturing facility and design centre in Karnataka

AJAX Engineering, the world’s largest manufacturer of SLCMs, is now expanding its footprint to meet the growing demand from diversified construction segments such as roads, railways, energy, and irrigation. It has earmarked ₹100 crores for the allotment of 20 acres of land in Bangalore from the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB), and for building a new manufacturing facility.


The new factory will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to design and manufacture its recently introduced products such as the concrete Slip-Form Pavers, Boom Pumps and the Self-Propelled Boom Pumps. The annual production capacity for Boom Pumps and concrete Slip-Form Pavers would be 100+ units and 50+ units, respectively. Another investment of ₹40 crores is being done to expand its Gowribidanur plant that produces batching plants and transit mixers. These investments will expand its robust business operations to meet the growing demands of the construction industry.
