HEF Group- Surface Engineering Specialists
HEF started its operations in India during 1983-84 with a techno- commercial collaboration with one of the TVS group companies called M/s.Tribology India Ltd. Through this company, HEF has introduced many surface treatments and coatings, like Sursulf, Arcor, Tribomol etc in India to name a few to improve the physical and metallurgical properties of ferrous and non ferrous materials.
Taking advantage of globalization in India, HEF started its 100% owned company at Chennai called HEF India Pvt Ltd, in 2000, ending its collaboration agreement with M/s.Tribology India Ltd.
