National Ropeway Development Programme to Boost Real Estate
A massive USD 15 billion National Ropeway Development Programme of the Central Government, currently underway, will provide a major aerial connectivity boost to real estate, especially in Tier 2-3 cities that have high tourism potential.

A Rs 1.25 lakh crore ropeway connectivity programme (the largest in the world) for developing cable car transport network in India, involves 260 projects spanning 1200 km, and a completion timeline of 5 years. The programme was announced in the Union Budget 2022-23. The ropeway will improve connectivity for commuters in hilly regions and decongest urban areas facing traffic jams, where the conventional mode of transport has become saturated.
