PROMAN has been closely watching the developments in the field of Construction and Demolition (C&D) recycling and metal recycling. To support the government policy regarding circular economy, we have successfully experimented with metal recycling, recycling of waste slag of blast furnaces, and construction demolition waste.

We are providing innovative, economical, and quality solutions to customers in the field of construction and material recycling with an extensive experience in crushing, screening, material handling, sand plants, mortar plants, metal & non-metal recycling etc.The recycling industry in India is mostly unorganized and lacks a proper supply chain. To bring about a change in this industry, we have started the Wendt PROMAN joint venture to offer total solutions in shredding and sorting for ferrous and non-ferrous recycling. Our aim is bring the right combination of locally manufactured and imported components so that the solutions we offer will be at par with international quality norms of Wendt and at competitive rates.
Government subsidies and incentives to consumers and creating clusters or recycling zones will support the construction industry’s efforts towards a circular economy.
The Government of India is already working on many policies (PLI, MSME, etc) to help the recycling industry. As a manufacturer, we have taken steps to provide the best of technology and solutions at competitive rates. However, if the Government offers some subsidy and incentives to consumers to change and handover old/inefficient vehicles to recycling shredders it will speed up efforts to support the circular economy.The government could also create clusters or recycling zones for getting optimal results in sorting, shredding, smelting, etc. Such a defined area with the required infrastructure and the best technology, would work in a closed loop. This could bring about a big change in the recycling industry by making its functioning more efficient.

We will manufacture the main portion of our shredder plant in our own facilities in India, using the proven designs of Wendt. We have a dedicated team working on C&D recycling. The end-product of the recycled materials will be viable for various industries.
