The Polygomma™ EPDM membranes are single-ply (layer) which ensures uniform performance across the cross section/thickness. There are no chances of any inter-ply blisters or de-bonding and it adds almost no additional load on the structure. However, the performance across various layers of multi-ply membranes such as various torch on membranes may not be consistent, there are chances of inter-ply blisters, and it adds significant load on the structure.
The application procedure of Polygomma™ EPDM membranes is quick, easy, and most importantly, safe. EPDM membranes are adhered on the substrate with the help of our Polygomma™ Bonding Adhesive. The same adhesive is also used for overlap joints. Unlike various torch on membranes, there is no need of any primer, torch, flame, etc, during the application of EPDM membranes. The standard size of our EPDM membranes is 1.2 meters (width) and 30 meters (length), and mostly, various torch on membranes have size of 1 meter (width) and 10 meters (length). Thus, our EPDM membranes cover a larger area per roll, which results in faster output and fewer overlap joints at site. We also manufacture EPDM membranes of width upto 6 meters (with factory seam), and 30 meters length. This can be used in larger areas such as basements, etc.
The Polygomma™ Waterproofing Membranes can be used in various areas of a building, from foundation to roof, including podiums, flower beds, swimming pools, terrace gardens, etc. The Polygomma™ Waterproofing Membranes have a life expectancy of more than 20 years. The product is easy to apply, and techno-commercially better than conventional substitutes, such as torch on membranes and various chemical/crystalline coatings.
