Work on Kanpur-Aligarh four-lane highway nears completion
The distance between Kanpur and Delhi will be reduced by about 90 kms, as the work on the 284-km-long Kanpur-Aligarh four-lane highway has almost been completed. The fifth toll plaza of this highway will start from August 15. The construction work on the Rs 3,500 crore highway was started in the year 2019, and the widening work from Bauner in Aligarh to the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur has been completed. Every day nearly 10 kms were constructed with ultra concrete machines.
