The Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA)
The Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) has approved the expansion of a significant portion of the Revas-Reddi Coastal Highway, transforming it from two lanes to four. The green light has been given for Package II, spanning Ratnagiri and passing through destinations like Bankot, Kelshi, Dapoli, Guhagar, and Vijaygad, ultimately leading to Jaigad near the Jindal Thermal Power plant. Managed by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), the project aims to enhance the road infrastructure and bolster tourism.
