Welspun Enterprises Wins Rs 7,300 Cr Pune–Shirur Highway Project In Maharashtra

Welspun Enterprises Limited has secured a Rs 7,300 crore contract to develop a six-lane, partially elevated highway corridor between Pune and Shirur in Maharashtra.

The 53.4 km project on NH-753F has been awarded by Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation under the DBFOT toll model. The scope includes upgrading the existing stretch from km 10.6 to km 64, aimed at improving regional connectivity and traffic flow.

The project will be executed over a concession period of 29 years, including a four-year construction phase, and is expected to enhance mobility and support economic growth along the Pune–Shirur corridor.
