SJVN and NHAI Sign Agreement for Technical Consultancy Services
Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) has entered into an agreement with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to provide technical consultancy services for highway projects. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to leverage SJVN's expertise in Technical Consultancy Services. SJVN will review slope protection works at various locations, particularly on the Parwanoo-Solan-Shimla section of NH-05, Kullu Manali Highway, and various NHAI projects in Himachal Pradesh. Additionally, SJVN will offer design review, peer review, and technical vetting services for NHAI projects. The initial consultancy service period is 24 months. The collaboration aims to promote knowledge sharing, resource optimization, and synergy between the power and highway sectors. The agreement was signed in the presence of NHAI Chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav and SJVN Director (Projects) Sushil Sharma.
