The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has issued a tender for the construction of a six-lane access-controlled greenfield highway in Maharashtra. The project, part of the Bharatmala Pariyojana, involves developing the Nagobachiwadi village to Katgaon village section of Ahmednagar-Solapur Akkalkot (Package-III). The length of the highway is 67.100 km, spanning from km 415.500 to km 482.600. The estimated investment for the project is ₹3,117.11 crore. The development is to be executed on a design, build, finance, operate, and transfer (DBFOT) basis, with a completion timeline of 24 months.
