Rs 36 cr earmarked for Nashik road infrastructure development

Maharashtra food and civil supplies minister and NCP MLA from Yeola, Chhagan Bhujbal informed that Rs 36 crore has been earmarked in the supplementary budget to carry out road and other development works in the constituency.

A total of Rs 3.5 crore of the Rs 36-crore allocation will be used to re-develop the road from Ankai to Pimpalgaon via Nagarsul and Andarsul. A sum of Rs 3 crore has been allocated for the state highway from Vapi-Peth to Niphad and Yeola and another Rs 3.5 crore will be used to construct a protection wall on the road from Yeola to Bilon. The government has allocated Rs 1.8 crore to strengthen the Andarsul Padhegaon-Mamdapur road. Apart from this, provisions have also been made to carry our development works of Yeola taluka in the district.
