Odisha govt directs NHAI to improve road infrastructure
Odisha government has asked the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to improve road safety infrastructure in the state. The move comes after the Supreme Court committee on road safety (SCCORS) expressed serious displeasure over poor maintenance of national highways at some places. The committee inspected road safety infrastructure on Bhubaneswar-Puri NH-316 and on some stretches of NH-16 passing through the eastern state.
