Nitin Gadkari Reviews Maintenance of 11,672 km National Highways in Uttar Pradesh

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari reviewed the quality and maintenance progress of 11,672 km of National Highway projects in Uttar Pradesh during a meeting held in New Delhi.

The review, conducted following feedback received through media and social media, was attended by Union Ministers of State Ajay Tamta and Harsh Malhotra, along with officials from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, National Highways Authority of India and project contractors.

Gadkari stressed the importance of timely project execution, strict quality control and adoption of advanced construction technologies to develop sustainable and efficient highway infrastructure.

He also directed officials to strengthen monsoon preparedness through preventive measures and effective response systems to maintain road safety, durability and commuter convenience across the highway network in Uttar Pradesh.
