NHAI takes over an elevated road project in Jodhpur
NHAI has taken over the construction work of an elevated road project to be built at Jodhpur in Rajasthan, Union transport minister, Nitin Gadkari, said, elaborating that prior to this the state government had announced the preparation of its DPR in 2019-20 and the state Public Works Department, had sent the proposals to NHAI. In view of this, the government has recently appointed Project Management Consultant to prepare the DPR after which NHAI will start the construction work on the spot by inviting tenders. In this connection, the state CM had a meeting with the Union transport minister, who instantly cleared the project and also directed NHAI to take over the project and start work as quickly as possible.
