NHAI invites bids for Rs 727.38-cr road project in Odisha

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced that bids are being invited for the upgradation of the existing four-lane road stretch to an eight-lane road on the Chandikhole Paradip section of NH-53 (Old NH 5A) in Odisha. This development falls under Package-IV part of the project and will require an investment of approximately Rs 727.38 crore. The rehabilitation and upgradation work for eight-laning of the road stretch will be executed from km 60.000 to km 76.646 of NH-53, covering a length of 16.646 km. The project will be carried out on the hybrid annuity model. The due date for bid submission is 5 June 2023.
