Ladakh to get ₹1170cr for Road Projects and ₹181.71cr for Bridges

The Ministry of Road Transport has approved an allocation of ₹1170.16 crore for the construction of 29 road projects in the Union Territory of Ladakh. The projects include a state highway, major roads, and other road infrastructure across various districts. Additionally, ₹181.71 crore has been earmarked for the development of eight bridges under the CRIF Scheme for the fiscal year 2023-24. These initiatives aim to enhance connectivity to remote villages, stimulate economic activities, and contribute to the overall infrastructural development of Ladakh.
