L&T wins bid for Dahisar-Bhayander Link Road Project in Mumbai

Larsen and Toubro
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has emerged as the successful bidder for the construction of the Dahisar-Bhayander Link Road (DBLR), a crucial transportation link aimed at enhancing connectivity between Mumbai's western suburbs and outskirts. After multiple extensions to the tender deadline, L&T secured the contract as the lowest bidder among three contenders, including J Kumar Infra Projects Limited and Afcons Infrastructure Limited. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 3,186 crores.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officially announced that the elevated road project, spanning 5 km in length and 45 meters in width, will connect Dahisar (West) to Bhayander (West). This milestone marks significant progress in the development of the project.

L&T, already involved in the Mumbai Coastal Road project in South Mumbai, is working on two segments divided into three phases. They are responsible for constructing the stretch from Priyadarshani Park to Baroda Palace and the twin tunnel construction from Princess Street flyover to Priyadarshani Park at Napensea Road.
