Highway Village Planned for Upcoming Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway
In a move to provide essential facilities for commuters, a Highway Village is being developed on the Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway in Unnao. Situated at the 31 km milestone, the Greenfield project includes amenities like restaurants, hotels, food courts, banks, workshops, fuel stations (including CNG stations), and charging points. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is constructing a six-lane, approximately 63 km expressway, with the Highway Village enhancing convenience for travelers. The initiative aligns with the broader connectivity plans, linking to Purvanchal Expressway, Agra-Lucknow Expressway, and Ganga Expressway.
