Delhi PWD plans to rework Shankar & Pusa road stretches

The Public Works Department (PWD)
The Public Works Department (PWD) has laid out plans for the renovation and improvement of the heavily congested Shankar Road and Pusa Road in central Delhi. These improvements are in line with the streetscaping project carried out for the G20 Summit. Pusa Road is home to three metro stations: Jhandewalan, Karol Bagh, and Rajendra Palace. Shankar Road, which connects to Pusa Road, underwent renovations just last year. The primary goal of this thorough review is to undertake a comprehensive revitalization of Delhi's road infrastructure, with the aim of rendering it more environmentally friendly, visually appealing, and user-centric. The inspections are centered around assessing the current state of the roads and pinpointing areas where enhancements and improvements can be made
