Cabinet clears ₹1,339. 68-cr road projects in Bihar

Bihar government has approved ₹1,339. 68 crore for the construction of new roads and improving the existing ones. The roads with a length of 120-km in districts like Patna, Gaya, Saran, Siwan, Buxar, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Madhubani and Jehanabad will be widened and strengthened at an investment of ₹1,097 crore under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) scheme. The cabinet has also cleared ₹242.68 crore for the construction of new roads and 13 bridges in four districts — Gaya, Aurangabad, Jamui and Lakhisarai — under the road connectivity project for left wing extremism affected areas.
