WSB Partners Invests Rs 75 Crore in Omaxe Projects in Ujjain and Indore

Omaxe-Project
WSB Partners has entered India’s tier-II real estate market with a Rs 75 crore investment in Omaxe Group.

The investment is focused on residential plotted developments in Ujjain and Indore, two emerging markets witnessing strong demand and infrastructure-led growth.

According to the company, the capital will be used primarily as growth capital, with a portion allocated toward working capital and reserves.

WSB Partners said tier-II and tier-III cities are increasingly attracting institutional investment due to rising incomes, improving affordability, infrastructure development and expanding industrial and spiritual corridors. Lower property prices and limited supply of branded developments are also supporting end-user demand in these markets.

The investment aligns with WSB Partners’ strategy of partnering with established developers in high-growth markets with strong execution capability and cashflow visibility.

Rahul Rajendran, Principal - Investments, WSB Partners, said, “This investment reflects our growing conviction in Tier II and III markets, where we see strong underlying demand supported by infrastructure development and improving affordability. We focus on partnering with developers who bring execution strength and market depth. WSB is also exploring multiple transactions with Omaxe Group in other Tier II/III cities across the country.”

Mohit Goel, Managing Director, Omaxe Limited, said, “We are pleased to partner with WSB Partners. This investment strengthens our ability to pursue growth opportunities while maintaining financial flexibility. We remain focused on disciplined expansion across markets where we see sustained demand. Tier II and III cities continue to present significant long-term opportunities, supported by infrastructure growth, improving connectivity, and rising aspiration-led demand.”
