RVNL CMD Saleem Ahmad Given Additional Charge as IRCON Chairman & Managing Director
The appointment follows the retirement of IRCON CMD Hari Mohan Gupta on June 30, 2026. As per an order issued by the Railway Board, Ahmad will hold the additional charge until a regular appointment is made or until further orders are issued, whichever is earlier.
IRCON stated that it has received the communication from the Ministry of Railways and will complete all necessary formalities related to the appointment in accordance with the Companies Act, SEBI regulations and other applicable statutory requirements.
The interim arrangement is aimed at ensuring continuity in leadership and smooth functioning of the railway infrastructure PSU during the transition period.
