PM Modi Launches Rs 9,400 Cr Infrastructure Projects in Telangana

PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone, inaugurated and dedicated development projects worth around Rs 9,400 crore in Hyderabad, aimed at boosting manufacturing, connectivity and energy infrastructure in Telangana.

Key projects include the development of the Zaheerabad Industrial Area as an Industrial Smart City with advanced infrastructure and ICT networks, alongside the PM MITRA textile park in Warangal, which is expected to strengthen textile manufacturing and generate large-scale employment.

The Prime Minister also highlighted major transport infrastructure developments, including National Highway expansion projects connecting Telangana and Karnataka, railway upgrades under the Kazipet–Vijayawada multi-tracking project, and the Kazipet Rail Under Bypass Line to improve connectivity and freight movement.

In the energy sector, a new Indian Oil Corporation Limited terminal at Malkapur was inaugurated to strengthen fuel supply infrastructure and support the region’s growing energy demand.
