Karnataka clears ₹11,513-cr infrastructure projects

The State High Level Clearance Committee spearheaded by the Karnataka CM has cleared 10 projects involving ₹11,513 crore investment. The CM expressed his willingness to make appropriate provisions for water usage in industries as energy and steel projects need huge quantities of water. Many industries have not utilized the lands allocated to them decades ago and the state is still facing a situation where they are not being able to allocate it to other industries.

The CM stressed the need for ways and means to provide land, water, power, infrastructure and various concessions for attracting investments and also dwelt at length about various incentives and facilities being offered to investors.
