Considering his outstanding achievements in the field of structural engineering and further recognizing his contribution to the Association’s activities, the Governing Council of Indian Association of Structural Engineers (IAStructE) at its 97th meeting elected Dr. N. Subramanian as an 'Honorary Fellow' of IAStructE.

Honorary Fellow is the highest recognition given by an Association to a person of eminence, who has performed extraordinary meritorious service to the Association. He was also awarded the Gourav Award for his significant contributions to the Civil Engineering Profession by the Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India).
