Adani Group commits over ₹12,400-cr investment in Telangana

Adani Group has signed four memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with the Government of Telangana, committing to an investment over ₹12,400 crore. This initiative aims to lay the groundwork for Telangana's economic growth, focusing on a green, sustainable, inclusive, and transformative approach. The MoUs were signed at the World Economic Forum in Davos, with the presence of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani.

Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) is set to invest over ₹5,000 crore in a 100 MW data center powered by renewable energy over the next 5-7 years. AEL will collaborate closely with local MSMEs and startups to cultivate a globally competitive supplier base, generating employment opportunities for 600 individuals, both directly and indirectly.

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) plans to invest over ₹5,000 crore in establishing two pump storage projects (PSPs), with capacities of 850 MW at Koyabestagudem and 500 MW at Nacharam.

Ambuja Cements is slated to invest ₹1,400 crore to establish a 6 MTPA cement plant over the next five years. Spanning 70 acres, the unit is expected to significantly enhance Ambuja's capabilities and provide employment for over 4,000 people, both directly and indirectly.

Adani Defence Systems and Technologies Limited will invest over ₹1,000 crore over the next 10 years to establish a comprehensive ecosystem for research, development, design, manufacturing, and integration of counter-drone and missile systems at the Adani Aerospace Park. This ecosystem is anticipated to significantly enhance India's defense capabilities, providing employment opportunities for over 1,000 individuals.
