JSW Cement reported a 22% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue to Rs 1,896 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, driven by strong volume growth and the commencement of operations at its new Nagaur plant in Rajasthan.

Total sales volume rose 15% YoY to 3.81 million tonnes in Q1 FY27 from 3.31 million tonnes a year earlier. Cement sales increased 27% to 2.34 million tonnes, while Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) sales grew 3% to 1.33 million tonnes.

Operating EBITDA stood at Rs 298.6 crore, down 7% year-on-year, while profit after tax (PAT) was Rs 153.4 crore. The company's net debt stood at Rs 3,856 crore as of June 30, 2026.

The company attributed the strong volume growth to sustained demand in its existing markets and the successful ramp-up of its newly commissioned integrated cement plant at Nagaur, Rajasthan. Commissioned in March 2026, the plant began commercial sales in April and achieved an average capacity utilisation of 55% during the quarter.

JSW Cement is continuing its expansion programme, with work underway on waste heat recovery systems, alternative fuel co-processing facilities and additional grinding capacity at Nagaur. The company also added 56 MW of wind power capacity during the quarter, taking its total renewable energy capacity, including waste heat recovery, to 112 MW. Capital expenditure during Q1 FY27 stood at Rs 337 crore.

The company said it maintained the industry's lowest carbon emission intensity at 338 kg of CO₂ per tonne of cementitious materials during the quarter and received multiple ESG, environmental and employer recognition awards.
