Rhino Highlights Advanced Asphalt Plants; Expands Product Lines

Rhino
Rhino Road Equipment showcased its latest asphalt drum mix and batch mix plants, with a strong focus on new-age technologies such as RAP (Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement). “Both our new plants can utilise 20-30% old asphalt, which helps customers significantly reduce material costs,” informed Mitesh Rupani, Managing Director.

The fully automatic Rhino Asphalt Batch Mixing Plant, with capacities ranging from 80 to 200 TPH, delivers a precise, homogeneous asphalt mix even at high production rates. Designed for international markets, the RBM series integrates advanced process controls and automation for productive and profitable performance. Rhino’s turnkey solutions ensure activity optimisation and substantial cost savings.

The plant features easy operation, low maintenance, modern batch mix technology, high production output, low dust emissions, modular design for container transport, and a computerized control panel for consistent quality. “Accuracy in quality control and fuel efficiency remain our top priorities,” averred Rupani.

Rhino’s drum mix asphalt plants, available from 20 to 120 TPH, come with modular four-bin feeders, steep bin walls for free aggregate flow, calibrated radial gates for accurate material control, and a variable-speed feeder system. The vibrating screen ensures oversized material removal, while the slinger conveyor feeds the aggregate into a precisely engineered dryer drum designed for proper heating with minimal heat loss. Specially designed flights within the drum help bring final moisture content down to 0.5%.

The company also offers Wet Mix Plant, comprising a pug mill mixing unit, a four-bin feeder, vibrating screen, conveyors, gob hopper, and a fully furnished control cabin. “All our machinery is extremely user-friendly. Anyone can operate them easily. We use the latest technology and highly fuel-efficient burners, and our plants are known for their robustness,” said Tejas Himani Managing Director.Rhino continues to see high demand for its machines across international markets such as Zimbabwe, Algeria, Nigeria, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan.

With over 40 years of experience in spare parts manufacturing, the company believes its deep technical understanding directly strengthens its product quality. Rhino uses SCADA and PLC-based control systems, along with top-tier components like NTN Japan bearings, resulting in plants that are nearly maintenance-free.

“We know the drawbacks of other machines, and we improve on them using better components so that our machinery lasts longer,” remarked Himani.

Backing the company’s products is a strong service network with experienced engineers, branches, and dealers across India. The company operates manufacturing facilities in Kolkata and Ahmedabad, supported by continuous in-house R&D.

“We use the best components in the market like burners, gearboxes, bearings and we never compromise on quality to match lower market prices,” he emphasised. “Our loyal client base values durability over short-term cost savings.”

Looking ahead, the company is expanding its portfolio and is set to enter the concrete machinery segment. The concrete batch mix plant will launch in January 2026, and more new machines will follow, including sensor pavers. Currently the largest manufacturer in Eastern India, Rhino now aims for nationwide presence. “We want to cover all of India and are looking to appoint strong dealers for both sales and service,” informed Himani.
