Ashitech Equipments, Vatsal Patel - Director
We will soon be introducing our higher capacity asphalt batch mix plants of 240 and 260 tph and will be setting up a new production unit at Mehsana.
Our higher capacity plants are being manufactured at our facility at Mehsana in Gujarat and are likely to be launched in the market by January 2024. Our target buyers are contactors working in greenfield projects of NHAI and state highways. The plants are RAP enabled and feature our in-house manufactured burners that deliver high energy efficiency and appropriate materials heating. The machines have their own bins and screening units and have been designed to deliver the rated throughput. Based on customer feedback, we have been making some improvisations in our products.
Lowering Cost of Operations Through Innovative Product Designs
Since the initial cost of equipment has gone up due to an increase in the cost of raw materials and components, our objective will be to deliver lower cost of operations to our customers. For instance, we have used newer technologies in our equipment and have made them more fuel efficient by 15 percent or so. We have used advanced drum designs and burners to maintain appropriate levels of air to fuel ratio for heating of the aggregates.
Expansion Plans: New Production Unit at Mehsana
To meet the growing market needs, Ashitech is setting up a new production unit at Mehsana which is likely to be operational by the end of 2023. Since we will be scaling up production, we will have to accordingly procure an increased volume of raw materials and components; this will bring down the per unit cost, making our products more cost-competitive. We will be coming up with completely new product designs in 2024 to further enhance the performance of our products and also lower their operational costs.
