MOBA Launches Latest Automation System
MOBA has recently introduced two of its latest automation systems. MDM-100, cost effective drill depth measurement system for drilling machine and WEIGHLOADER - weighing system for wheel loaders in addition to the recently launched machine control system for excavators, GS-506 motor grader leveling system for earthmoving and the Big Sonic-Ski® for sensor pavers. Together with the MOBA-matic controller, the Big Sonic-Ski, eliminates the painstaking string line method, is the most flexible leveling system for sensor pavers. Also on display will be the new HMI concept for the OEMs who wish to upgrade their operating panels from the mechanical toggles switches to the latest membrane key panels. These systems were displayed at Bauma ConExpo - 2013, Mumbai.
The MOBA HMImc convinced the 30 member expert jury by its innovative design and the versatile combination of different modules to create individual operating units. From the small, compact single unit with display module and emergency stop switch up to the multifunctional unit of six modules with display, keypad and joystick everything is possible. The first HMImc units of three modules that were built according to customer’s demands are used to control aerial platforms.
The MOBA product platform delivers components of premium quality for various applications. A wide range of controllers, sensors and HMIs comes along with a standard or customized housing for many different requirements. With their open, modular structure, all products can easily be integrated in existing systems. On the basis of our expertise and knowhow of the drilling process we could enhance the system not only with the indication of the real time drill depth but also with controlling the drilling process and automatically stop the operation at a preset drilling depth.
Due to its low cost, compact and modular architecture we expect OEMs shall consider this to be a standard fitment to achieve better efficiency for the drilling process.

Better Leveling - Smooth Roads
The Big Sonic-Ski® with its unique feature which helps eliminating the use of string line while laying the BC layers where smoothening of the road is taken care over road waves, which make the top surface super fine. The innovating measuring method with five ultrasonic sensors and its reliability make the Sonic-Ski together with the MOBA-matic controller a state of the art system for leveling control. With the MOBA Big Sonic-Ski® non-contact averaging system, made using three such Sonic-Ski® over a length of 13 meters the paver produces the smoothest road surface by averaging out irregularities over long distance and thus improves the mat quality even when the reference is less than perfect. Resurfacing of the roads could not be this easy, even with on-going traffic as the Big Sonic-Ski does not require string line. MOBA MDM-100
