Elofic offers wide range of filters for construction equipment sector
Elofic Industries Ltd., started in 1951 by M.S. Sahni, is one of the leading brands in India for its filters. The company manufactures filters for all vehicle categories like passenger cars, tractors and commercial vehicles in its five state of-the-art production units, covering a total area of 52,000 sqm three at Faridabad near New Delhi, fourth at Nalagarh in Himachal Pradesh and fifth at Hosur near Bangalore.
Elofic participated in Excon for the first time, showcased a wide range of filters for the Construction Equipment Industry in various categories such as Air, Oil, Fuel, and Hydraulic. Mr. K.D. Sahni, Joint Managing Director said, "Elofic has been a renowned name in the automotive segment, and now have entered into the construction, Earthmoving and Industrial segment as well, to meet the typical demands of OEMs."
He continued, "The prime objective of participating in Excon 2013 was to launch our Construction and Earthmoving filter range and to announce that we are now into this segment as well. And the participation has paid us rich dividends as we have received good queries from Distributors & OEMs of this segment." Commenting on the quality of the show, "The quality of the show was very good and it is truly of an international standard. I personally feel that our objectives were fulfilled. In fact a lot of people were pleasantly surprised that Elofic is now in the CE segment also. It was a very welcoming response, and now customers will avail the immense benefits of our value-for-money products."
In these competitive times, it's imperative that a manufacturer maintains close connectivity with its customers, and Elofic is quite active in this front too. "We have 15 sales offices all across the country, and a wide distribution network in every nook and corner of the country. And since our new filters are quite specialized products, we will expand our channel partner network." He was of the view that the Indian infrastructure industry is too large to be bogged down by the economic slowdown. "It's a temporary phase and soon the economy will be back on track," he concluded.
